ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICE

  Students are referred to the Tutoring Assistance Program by their teachers or counselors.  The TAP program is a Learning Assistance Program (a Wa. State funded intervention) so students must meet eligibility requirements for service.   An all school screening process based on math and language arts grades and standardized assessment scores, in addition to the teacher/counselor recommendation, provides the basis for equal access to this service and for inclusion in this supplemental program.  Parents/guardians agree to student participation and the sharing of academic information with Ms. Hillier and the volunteer tutor/mentors.
