On behalf of the staff and students of Woodward Middle School, welcome to our website where you will find a great deal of valuable information about our school. Many of our teachers include a copy of their course syllabus on the web and keep their students and parents up to date with specific information about homework assignments and upcoming due dates.

We are very proud of our school. We have an excellent student body, an extremely talented and dedicated staff, and a community that truly values and supports education. Based on our student performance, Woodward is recognized as one of the top middle schools, not only in the state of Washington, but in the nation.

Woodward was recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2004. Woodward was the only middle school in Washington State - and one of just 25 schools nationwide - to receive this award. The Blue Ribbon award is given to schools that are recognized as "models of excellence."
