8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher
This is my eleventh year of teaching 8th grade at Woodward. Prior to this time, I taught high school social studies in Bellevue. While I enjoyed teaching high school, I love the energy and enthusiasm of middle schoolers. I believe that my previous experience as a high school teacher helps me prepare students for a successful transition to high school next year.
I live on the island with my husband and two children: my son Robin (9) and my daughter Miranda (5). In my spare time (of which teaching does not provide any), I enjoy reading, juggling, and yoga. More than anything else, however, I love teaching!
