Greetings and Welcome

to the 2007-2008 School Year!

Woodward Middle School students, parents, and staff have established a tradition of excellence. As the principal I am delighted and honored to be a part of this tradition. I speak for the entire staff in saying that we will continue to strive to provide the students with the finest education possible.  My sincere thanks to the community for its continued involvement and support.  

By way of personal background, I hold a BA in Psychology and Masters in Education from the College of William and Mary; and an administrative credential from the University of California, Irvine.  I have 20 years in the field of education ranging from Primary to Community College.

My husband and I are avid sailors and recently completed a global circumnavigation aboard our sailboat, Shibui.  We spent six years in this adventure and visited forty different countries.  When not at school, we also enjoy running and skiing. My newest interest is rowing with the Bainbridge Island Rowing Club.
