First Grade Supply List - Fall 2007

School supplies are shared in the first grade classrooms and become part of our community supplies. Please do not label the community suppllis with your child's name. Please write your child's first and last name on only the backpack, the 3-ring binder, and the folder for taking home papers.

• 12 pencils, sharpened, bright yellow #2 (regular "wooden" pencils, not the ones that have a plastic-like finish) Suggested brands: Ticonderoga, Dixon, Office Max
• 1 set of colored pencils (a package with anywhere from 8 - 24 colors in a pack)
• 6 glue sticks
• 2 pink Pearl erasers
• 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 1 antibacterial hand cleaner that cleans without water
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 package of soft "Wet Wipes"
• one 1" 3-ring binder, labeled with student's first and last names. (Please, no Trapper Keeprs or Velcro closures)
• 1 folder with pockets for bringing home papers, labeled with your child's first and last names
• 1 "child - size" backpack for carrying school materials to and from school, labeled with your child's first and last names
• 2 boxes of snack crackers
• At the beginning of each month, please send 2 boxes of snack crackers for that month.
