Due to half days, assemblies, conference week, non school days, various academic class activities, field trips and holidays, it is imperative that students accept more responsibility to work on their music at home before they enter the band room.  Otherwise, we have to take each section/person and work on their music at school which takes an enormous amount of time.  The result is slow progress and a decline in morale. A few minutes of practicing at home will save hours at school and result in an organization that is fun and rewarding to participate in.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
