de Guzman/Emerick Supply List

These supplies will get you off to a good start!  Please replace writing and art supplies as necessary so that you can continue to do great work all year.

Put your name on all supplies (especially lunch boxes!) including scissors, ruler and calculator, since these are frequently “lost and found” items.

For Science only

·         1-1 inch 3 ring binder

·         1 pack of divider

·         Extra:  It would be great to purchase a copy of the book BIRDS OF SEATTLE AND PUGET SOUND by Chris C. Fisher

For Math only

·         1-1 inch 3 ring binder (different color than science)

·         1 pack of dividers

For Language Arts only

·         1 three-hole spiral notebook (70 sheet, wide-ruled)

To be used in all subjects

·         1 three ring binder that zips shut or a plastic expandable file with spaces for different subject areas (dividers also if you will be using a 3 ring binder)

·         1 soft zippered pouch to hold small supplies

·         Lined notebook paper

·         2 packages #2 pencils and 1 box of colored pencils

·         1 ruler with standard and metric measures

·         1 pair sharp scissors and 1 large glue stick

·         2 highlighter pens and 2 black Flair pens

·         1 basic calculator

·         1 box of Kleenex for classroom use

It would be wonderful if your kids could also have the following 2 checks with them on the first day of school.  We like to try to collect all the money at one time, so that we do not have to continue to bother you throughout the school year.  If this is difficult for your family, we’re happy to have a little at a time, or scholarships are available through PTO.  Please contact one of our counselors to ask about scholarship help.
