Ready, Set, Relax
Just Know. Bainbridge Coalition for Youth and Parents brings you the first Ready, Set, Relax - Bainbridge Family Night on Wednesday, March 31, 2004. In our over-scheduled world, they want you to take back some time with your family. Organizations, businesses and restaurants want to share their support for families through special programs or incentives. The following explains the benefits these groups will provide on that one day!
Take your Family Pass (located on flyers that have been distributed throughout the community and are available at the school district office) to these local organizations, businesses and restaurants and receive their special offer for spending time together with your family:

Bainbridge Cinemas at the Pavilion - (403 Madison Avenue N) Family movie package, $5/person: good for movie of your choice, one small popcorn and one small drink.
Bainbridge Public Library - (1270 Madison Avenue N) 7 PM, three guest storytellers will share stories for all ages.
B.I. Sushi House - (108 Winslow Way W - in Winslow Green) Free sushi roll of your choice.

The Gym at the Pavilion - (403 Madison Avenue N) Free family day at The Gym, plus at 7 PM a guest speaker, Dr. Leyla Welkin. Dr. Welkin will address "Family Health - in mind, body, and spirit" with a Q&A at the end.

Paper Products - (256 Winslow Way E) 20% off puzzles and origami for week preceding Ready, Set, Relax - March 24 - 31.

Town & Country - Thriftway - Free half-gallons of Dreyer's Ice Cream will be given to the first 100 people that come with a Family Pass.
Treehouse Cafe and Squeaky Wheels - (Lynwood Center) Free ice cream for families who bike together between 3 and 5 PM. Meet at Lynwood Center and enjoy an easy 3-mile bike ride through Ft. Ward. Squeaky Wheels bike club members will lead small groups, giving safety tips before and after the ride.
Via - (upstairs in the Pavilion) 10% of bill for all food items.

The Just Know. Bainbridge Coalition for Youth and Parents currently consists of representatives from Bainbridge Island Fire and Police Departments, Bainbridge Island Parks, Bainbridge Island School District and Board of Directors, Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA), Bainbridge Youth Services (BYS), Boy & Girl Scouts, Boys & Girls Club, CFA Northwest Mortgage Professionals and the business community, Imagine Bainbridge, the Teen Center, and Virginia Mason Winslow Clinic.
