Hello! I hope you enjoy looking around this quick site here. Feel free to tell me about the good things and the bad things about it. And, if you have a minute, I'd like to ask you a favor. Recently, a team of Ethan Faust, Ian Mitchell, and I created a website for the Washington State FBLA competition. We developed a website for the Bainbridge Island Rotary Club Auction. The prompt is as follows:
Develop a Web site to advertise an event that takes place in your community every year. It may be the 4th of July celebration, a rodeo that comes to town, the opening of school, and so forth. The information may be fictitious.
The competition consisted of two parts: a prejudged portion, and a presentation of the design process. Although it was close at times, we won first place at the state competition and get to go to Nationals. The favor I'm asking, is that you check out our website and email me as many critiques as you can. We are aiming for first place at Nationals, and that is going to take work and changes. We want to make our site as perfect as possible, and as user-friendly as possible. All help is appreciated.
My reasons for developing this site were quite varied.
I encourage you to take a look around and see what you like or don't like. Once you're done, please, if you especially liked or disliked something, take the time to let me know. I'm constantly seeking to hone my skills and value all opinions.
Thanks,
Nick Reiter
