Bainbridge High School students have the opportunity to participate in an informative study focusing on mental health support issues.

We have seen an increasing need to provide students with support groups for a variety of issues they face day in and day out. Adolescent issues, including their growing mental health needs, are important areas to target for education and intervention.

Peter Stewart, a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Kansas, is conducting a study to measure teen expectations and perceptions of therapy. The results of this study will help schools and communities to deliver more meaningful mental health services for young people. This study has been carefully reviewed and is approved through our school district central office and board of education.
