Important Parent Notice – BHS & Commodore Options School

On Thursday, Jan. 10th, a student at Commodore Options School discovered a “bomb threat” scratched into the door of a bathroom stall in one of the boys’ restrooms at Commodore. In consultation with the Bainbridge Island Police Department, school district protocol was followed that included an assessment of all facilities at both Bainbridge High School and Commodore Options School and a short term evacuation of all buildings. Students were out of the school for a short period of time at approximately 1:15 PM this afternoon. As of 1:45 PM, all school activities have returned to normal schedules. Investigation of the incident continues.
