Welcome Back!

The new school year at BHS is just around the corner. The staff at BHS is anxious to reconnect with students and parents. Please note the following event reminders:

1. BHS Registration started this morning. It was great to see our Seniors back on campus today. Juniors are schedule for registration this afternoon (8/22), 10th grade students will register all day on Thursday (8/23) and 9th grade registration is scheduled for Friday (8/23). Registration activities begin in the lower gym. Please refer to the BHS website and the
August mailing regarding registration details.

2. Our "new and improved" new student/9th grade student and parent BBQ/Potluck is scheduled for 4 - 6 PM this Thursday (8/23). We strongly encourage all incoming 9th grade students & parents and all student new to BHS along with their parents to join us for this event. Details regarding this activity were included in the August mailing. After dropping off food items in the lower gym, all parents and students are invited to join BHS administrators and counselors in the upper gymnasium for a brief meeting. After the meeting and student campus tours we will all gather outside the lower gym to enjoy the BBQ along with great conversation. Don't miss it!

3. Again this year, our first home football game will occur prior to the first day of school. All BHS students, parents and community members are invited to join us for an exciting opening to our school year on Friday, Aug. 31, at 7 PM as the BHS Spartans take on the North Kitsap HS Vikings.
