STUDENTS
1. This is Bike To School Week! For all students who bike or walk to school there's food and prizes in the wagon wheel. Come try an environmentally friendly form of transportation to get to school and be rewarded for your effort this week.
2. Seniors: The final transcript release
form is now available in the counseling office. Please bring back with
one envelope addressed to the college and one 42 cent stamp. Thanks!
3. ATTENTION
CLASS OF 2009! Senior Project Advisory
meetings are scheduled for this Wednesday, May 14 at 11:40 am. Check in front of the counseling office or
any American Studies classroom to see who your advisor is. See Mr. Anderson if you have questions.
4. Seniors: the proposed trip to Wild Waves scheduled June 10th has been canceled due to lack of interested participants. Students who purchased a ticket and have plans to attend the prom will be credited $25 and only charged the difference. Students not attending the prom may see Sarah Spray for reimbursement.
5. Seniors:
starting today, Prom tickets are on sale during both lunches. Tickets are
$40.00 per ticket. Prom will be held at
Benaroya Hall this Friday, May 16th from 8:30-midnight.
6. Seniors: seniors interested in speaking at graduation are asked to see Ms. Lemmon or Mr. Fritts. Speeches will be heard and selected Friday morning, May 30th at 8:00am.
MEETINGS
1. First meeting of the Investment
Club is Tuesday, after school, in Ms. Goetsch’s room.
SPORTS
1. Sign ups
for Senior Babe Ruth are in the office.
Age group is 15-18 years old.
Season starts middle of May till mid July.
2. It’s not too early to start
thinking about turning in sports forms for next year! Fall sports are:
boys/girls golf, girls swim/dive, girls soccer, football, volleyball,
cross country and girls water polo.
Please pick up a sport packet in the office and return it pronto! Make sure your physical is current and won’t
expire during the season. Thanks for
