4.         FROM THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE – Welcome back!  After a fun summer hope you are ready for a great school year.  Just a few reminders about Attendance:  Notes are not accepted, only phone calls.  The Attendance phone is available 24 hours a day.  Give your folks the number - 842-2918.  When your parent/guardian has called to excuse you to leave early, a green slip will be filled out and posted on the board next to Attendance office.  Remember to pick it up before you go to class. You must give your teacher a green slip if you are leaving class early.  If you come late to school, please come by the Attendance Office and sign in. (The only exception to this is first thing in the morning.  If you arrive before 8:55 go directly to class) We will give you a pink slip to get into class.  If possible have a parent/guardian call before you get here.....then your tardy will be excused.  Your absences must be excused within 48 hours.  You will find more information about Attendance in your handbook.  Please share this with your parent/guardian.  Any questions, just stop by and ask us.  Have a good year!
