They will be set up and ready to go from 8:00am through both lunches.

will give you the necessary forms to park in the lower pit. The
requirements are seniors only at this time with at least three people in a car
pool one of the other car pool participants must be a licensed driver.
These individuals will have the best parking spaces available to them in the
pit between the lower gym and the math wing. If you have questions see
Mr. Fritts, Mr. Jones or Ms. Lacy.
5. Yearbook staff wants to remind students to turn in your Summer Photos with captions to the box in the office by Sept. 28. Seniors…turn in your Looking Back photos to the box in the office. All pictures are due by Sept. 28. Thanks
6. ATTENTION ALL SENIORS & JUNIORS: College admissions counselors
have been making plans to visit you here at Bainbridge High School and in the
Seattle area. The list is not quite
ready for prime-time, but as soon as it is ready, you will find it on the front
page of the BHS main website (hopefully by the end of the day on this
Friday). It will also be posted right
outside the Counseling Office in the hallway.
We will update it every Friday, so you should check it carefully from
top to bottom to see if the college or university you are particularly
interested will be on this side or the other side of the Puget Sound.
Representatives
from the colleges DO pay attention to the people who meet with them. It is a terrific opportunity to get your face
and name front and center, prior to submitting your application! These are the people who are likely to read
the application first!
We do have a few
rules about the visits which are only open to juniors and seniors:
1).
Students must sign up on the clipboard in the Counseling Office by
the day before the session to be able to attend the session, unless the
session occurs during your open, study hall or lunch.
2).
Students must notify the teacher before signing up, asking
PERMISSION to be out of class.
3). If
student signs up, we assume s/he is coming.
We ask students to scratch their name off the list if they decide not to
attend.
4).
Students may NOT sign up for someone else.
5).
Students must initial next to their name when they go to the session
(for attendance).
