STUDENTS

1.       Individual general scholarship applications are beginning to come in.  Check the Career Center web page for scholarship info or see Mr. Anderson in Room 104.

2.       ASVAB test is Oct. 26.  Sign up in the main office or see Mr. Anderson (104).

3.       Open Houses/Tours:  ITT Technical Institute Open House Oct. 13.  UW Health Sciences Tours begin Oct. 18 (numerous other dates).  See Mr. Anderson.

3.       Job available in a local law office.  See Mr. Anderson in room 104.

4.       Any student who is taking the SAT this weekend (Oct 6) in Poulsbo/Olympic College, please report to Ruby in the Counseling office.

5.       BHS has a closed campus policy.  Freshmen and sophomores are not allowed off campus at anytime during the day.  This includes break and lunchtime.  Juniors and seniors may leave at lunchtime and during an approved “open”.   Thanks for abiding by these guidelines.

6.       Attention Sophomores and Juniors:  It is time to register to take the PSAT or PLAN exam. These tests will be held at BHS on Saturday, Oct. 20th @ 8:00 am.  Sign ups are going on now through October 11th.  Make check payable to BHS for $17 and indicate which exam you will take on your check.  The PSAT is designed for juniors and sophomores who have completed Geometry. The PLAN is designed for sophomores.  If you are a sophomore who has completed Geometry, you can choose to take either the PLAN or the PSAT.  The week of October 8th, counselors will be visiting your English classes to discuss which exam is appropriate for you.  See your counselor if you have questions.

7.       Homecoming tickets will be sold at both lunches until Friday.  The theme this year is Black & White Ball and tickets are $10 each.  Dance is from 8:30pm-Midnight in the Paski gym.  See you there!
