STUDENTS

1.         MANDATORY MEETING:  ALL Nantes participants MUST attend a meeting on Thursday, December 13 at 3:00 p.m. in Room 341.  Come prepared to finalize our itinerary in France.  Mr. Fritts

2.         Jingle Bells!!  It’s holiday season and time for a Winter Band Concert!  Join us on Monday, December 17th at 7:00pm in the gym and enjoy this exciting performance.

3.         Leadership is putting on a food drive for Helpline House this week and the next! Bring food to the lower gym and drop it off in the boxes! Thank you!

4.         Today, Math Study Lab will only be open until 3:30pm; Thursday until 3:45.

5.         IMPORTANT FOOD SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:  beginning today, through winter break…there will be no snack at break or lunch, as we will be short 3 staff people and have no substitutes.  We will have to concentrate on lunch.  Also, students, please make sure your accounts are not overdrawn.  We need to have them not ‘in the red’ over break.

6.         THE ROCK – students working on The Rock, please meet in the office TODAY at break to have your picture taken.

7.         Need a dose of Christmas cheer?  The Choir Holiday Concert is this Wednesday in the LGI at 7:00.  Come join in the spirit and enjoy some familiar holiday music and some new tunes, too.  Ho, Ho, Hope to see you there!

 

MEETINGS

1.         Science Club will be meeting after school in Mr. Skare's room (317) on Wednesday starting at 3:00.  New and returning members are always welcome.

2.         ATTENTION SENIORS & JUNIORS:  last college rep visit of the season!  Sign up in the counseling office at least one day in advance.  No last minute students will be allowed to this one since we anticipate it will be a large gathering.  ASK YOUR TEACHER FOR PERMISSION TO BE ABSENT FROM CLASS BEFORE SIGNING UP.  Tuesday, 12:00 Noon; Washington State University   (Meet in the LGI.)

UPCOMING MEETINGS IN SEATTLE:  Thurs., 12/27, 6:30 - 9:00 PM - Service Academy Information Night in Seattle

                              at the U.S. Coast Guard Support Center Gym - Pier 36 (1519 Alaskan Way South)

                              USNA, USCGA, USMA, USMMA, USAFA will be represented.

                              NOTE:  All persons must show photo ID to enter the Coast Guard Station.

SPORTS

1.         All girls varsity soccer players please come to coach Druker's classroom Wednesday after school to finalize end of season of details. 

2.         Attention all XC runners and anyone else interested in keeping in shape this winter:  we will have easy runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, leaving from the school at 3:15.  Meet at the track.  ALL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS WELCOME.  See you there!!

3.         HOME TODAY:  c-team basketball vs. Sequim, 6:30pm; gymnastics vs. Nathan Hale/Ingraham, 6:00pm; wrestling vs. Chief Sealth/Rainier, 6:30pm.
