Wednesday. Come listen as your very own
peer playwrights have their wonderful plays read out loud! Free drinks and snacks! Starts at 7:30 and ends at 9:00pm. Room C544 (Mortlock & Polinsky’s). See you there!
2. Part-time job at Windermere Real Estate in
Winslow. Sunday's 10 am to 4 pm. See Mr. Anderson in room 104 if interested.
3. SENIORS: important Senior Project meeting Wednesday,
11:40-12:10pm. Make sure you check in
with your advisor.
4. PLAN results are in! Sign up with Mr. Anderson in room 104 for a time to review your
results.
5. Just a reminder to all our Spartan
fans about these standards for our home events:

Our
fan support for our team was terrific Tuesday in spite of a few opportunities
that the opponent provided for the mighty Spartans to respond to. Your
choice to refrain from "booing" and their flag was OUTSTANDING and
the standard Bainbridge HS is striving for. Let's have a terrific winter
season with our school support!

7. We've completed our study process for
league alignment and based on the information and feedback we have received,
the decision has been made to not pursue membership to another league.
Detailed information about our process can be found on the school
website. We appreciate the student and staff feedback and participation
in our survey. GO SPARTANS!
8. Want to be a super model?? Bainbridge Youth Services is hosting a
series of photo shoots this on Sat., Dec. 8th at 10:00am; Monday,
Dec. 10th at 3:00pm and Weds., Dec. 13th at 3:00pm at the
BYS office (Commodore, Rm. 5). Choose
any one of the 90 minute sessions.
Photos will be used for display boards and future BYS promotion
materials. ALL students under 18
must have a photo release signed by a parent/guardian (available at BYS
office). Bring a friend! Stop by the BYS office and sign up! As always, thanks for your support!
9. The 6th annual Solstice Run,
sponsored by Island Fitness and Go Run! is this Saturday. The Solstice Run organizers would be
quite appreciative of any early-rising, hard-workin'
BHS students able and willing to help put on our 5k and 1 mile race (complete
with kiddie dashes). Jobs include:
directing runners to stay on course, directing traffic away from runners, water
station assistants, making hot chocolate, passing out refreshments, gently
herding young children. Perks include: hot chocolate, t-shirt,
fresh air, volunteer hours. Call Anne,

10. Seniors: If you want
to see how your name will appear on your diploma, please go to room 104 and see
Ms. Howing. Thank you.
11. If you have written a play you would like
considered for the Winter One Acts, please submit it to Seb Nielsen by December
10. If you would like to direct a play,
please submit a one page application letter and a copy of the play to Seb
Nielsen (C511).
MEETINGS
1. There’s a
History Club meeting today. All members are required to attend. We will be meeting in Mr. Taylor’s room
(0475) after school. Be there!
2. Knowledge Bowl team members, please see Mr. McLean or Ms. Newland today for information about Wednesday’s tournament. Permission slips are due.
3. Here is the last of the college visits! Tuesday, 12/11, 12:00 Noon;
Washington State University.

3. Spartan fans that want a front row seat

4. Baseball Mark your calendar –
new freshmen baseball players and parents – and new students wanting to
play baseball this year for BHS – there will be a meeting this Wednesday, Dec.
5th at 6:30pm in the Health room (409) with Coach Gore.
